Chugiak/Peter’s Creek is a small community with a population of 8,300, about 21 miles from Anchorage along the Glenn Highway, north of Eagle River and before the Palmer Hay Flats. If you’re looking for a country feel within easy commute distance to Anchorage this is a great bet. Home prices won’t be as mild as the Mat-Su Valley, but it’ll save you time on the road.
